Student killed, four injured in junta shelling in Shan State

A student was killed and four others were injured when junta forces shelled on November 20 the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) Brigade 2 area in Ohm Swan village in Namhsan township in northern Shan State.
Three artillery shells fired by the junta troops from a military outpost dropped on the village, killing 14-year-old student Lway Mya Thandar Lin. She suffered fatal injuries on her chest.
Four other people between the age of 14 and 50-years-old were injured in the attack, the TNLA said.
TNLA claimed that the military outposts from Namhsan town, Maing Ngaw and Kyaukme town also fired more than 30 rounds of artillery over Myothit village on November 19.
