Junta revokes licences of 43 employment agencies
The Ministry of Labour under military government revoked the licences of 43 employment agencies that send workers to Thailand.
It also suspended the licences of eight more agencies for six months to one year.
The junta’s Ministry of Labour also blacklisted 125 Thailand companies, 125 Thai individuals and 20 Thai employment agencies for various violations
According to the ministry of Labour, there are 487 foreign work agencies and 147 Thailand agencies.
One pilot from the crashed junta jet fighter captured
One pilot from K8 military jet fighter that crashed in Karenni State was captured by resistance forces nine days after the incident.
"The captured pilot, Major Khaing Thant Moe was from Taungoo air base and his co-pilot Lieutenant Zarni Maung remains missing," the Karenni Interim Executive Council (IEC) said.
The IEC and the National Unity Government said it would take actions against the captured pilot.
Throughout the revolution, there were many captives of war and the 43 years old Major Khaing Thant Soe was considered a "war criminal" by the Ministry of Defence of NUG.
30,000 online fraudsters deported to China
The Chinese media outlet, Xinhua news agency said 31,000 telecom fraud suspects in northern Myanmar were turned over to Chinese law enforcement authorities.
The suspects include 63 alleged investors, suspected leaders and permanent leaders and 1,531 online suspected fraudsters. Since the beginning of November, China and Myanmar worked closely to eradicate the online fraud in northern Myanmar.
The ringleaders of Kokant online frauds; Ming Guoping, Ming Julan and Ming Zhenzhen were being detained and its leader Ming Xuechang allegedly committed suicide while under detention.
Xinhua reported that the Ministry of Public safety of China would take actions against the suspects.
17,000 million of MMKs lost in fires
The director of Myanmar Fire Services Department, U Thet Tun Oo to China’s Xinhua news agency that there were 1,245 fire outbreaks from 01 January 2023 to 21 November and the estimated amount of loss is about 17,000 million MMks.
Due to fire outbreaks, 75 people were killed and 184 were injured. A total of 9,712 were displaced while 3100 buildings, 17 factories and 146 storehouses were destroyed or damaged.

For the same period last year, a total of 1,400 fires were recorded with 85 people killed. The estimated loss to property was 6 billion MMKs and most of the fire was due to negligence and faulty electrical wiring.
Taunggyi hot air ballon festival winners to be decided by online voting
The winners of this year’s Taunggyi hot air ballon festival to be held from 21st to 27th November would be decided through online voting in a bid to generate more public interest and the awards will be chosen with voting system so as to attract the public interest.
Some residents in Taunggyi criticized the holding of the festival this year is inappropriate due to unstable security situation in the area.
The organizers of the competition announced it would use the MPT telecom to vote for the prizes and no entrance fee to the venue would be collected.
The festival will take place in Ahweiya hot-air balloon square in Taunggyi. Competitors would be classified into daytime and nighttime hot air ballons as well as Nya Mee Kyi and Sein Na Pan hot-air balloons.
Junta monitors bank account holders that withdraw above 1,000 Lakhs
Bank account holders that withdraw above 1,000 lakhs are being monitored by the Central Bank’s Bureau of Special Investigation and the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).
"If they were suspected to be part of a conspiracy to manipulate the market, effective actions would be taken against them," said deputy chairman of central bank, Dr. Lin Aung.
Some people were worried that banks would charge them service fees when withdrawing their money, just like what happened immediately after the junta seized power in the February, 2021.
Loikaw University staff are in safe locations
During the battle between junta troops and Karenni Nationalities Defence Force (KNDF) on 13 November, the rector, teachers and their family members were evacuated to safe location, according to the Karenni Interim Executive Council (IEF).
According to record of IEC, a total of 204 people including the 59-year-old university rector U Aung Khin Myint and 54 year-old-deputy rector Daw Thida, as well as 149 women and 55 men and 31 underage students were brought to a safe place.
The IEC is assisting the university staff by providing humanitarian assistance, treating them and respecting their basic human rights as well as working to allow them to meet with their family members.
Kayah to Karenni
The Karenni State Consultative Council-KSCC released a statement on 23 November to use Karenni instead of Kayah to refer to the state. It considers Kayah as a discriminatory term used by the Myanmar military.
They also urged the media outlets and other associations to use the term Karenni.
It was only after 04 January 1948, when the government Anti-Fascist People's Freedom League joined the Federation of Burmese states that Karenni was referred to as "Kayah" in the Myanmar parliament in 1951.
"Before 1951, the international community and local people referred to them as "Karenni" to represent all the Karenni minorities, the KSCC said.
Mro National Development part was annulled
The Rakhine State based Mro National Development Party asked to disband the party with their consent and the junta’s election commission accepted their proposal and annulled the party on 22 November.
Before that incident, on 20 November, junta annulled the Kokant Democratic party since they could not follow the party registration law and failed to collect dues from the thousands of party's members.
After the military takeover, the junta annulled 40 political parties and 37 parties were registered and allowed to participate in the elections that has yet to be scheduled.
