Anti-junta resistance forces burned down over K300 million worth of drugs on April 23 in Sagaing Region, according to the Minsitry of Home Affairs of the National Unity Government.

 

The Kawlin People’s Defence Force seized the variety of drugs in Kawlin District, according to the National Unity Government statement.

 

The destroyed drugs include K8.6 million worth of herion, and 1,859 tablets of Yaba worth over18.5 million.

 

The announcement said several suspects who trafficking the drugs were also arrested.

 

It urged the people to inform the People Defence Forces in various areas in the country about drug trafficking so action could be done immediately.
